Detailed Itinerary

Meet and greet at Julius Nyerere International Airport.
Transfer to a comfortable hotel in the city for relaxation.

Early morning after breakfast we'll pick you up from your hotel and drive to Ruaha National Park for an optional evening game drive. This is a remote area with dramatic topography of mountains, rivers and plains. Its ragged beauty is only outmatched by the variety and density of wildlife and exotic birdlife.

After Breakfast, depart for full day game drive in Ruaha National Park. The park covers 12,950 square kilometers, with a big area of dry savanna. It is home to herds of elephants. The forest contains Miombo woodlands, Acacia woodlands, Riverine forests and Terminalia scrub. Ruaha and Rungwa areas are home to 450 bird species.

After Breakfast, depart for full day game drive in Ruaha National Park.

After an early breakfast we will depart for Udzungwa Mountains National Parks. There will be a picnic lunch on arrival. Then we'll proceed to a mountain hike via the Campsite 3 trail (8-10hrs). There will be plenty of things to see including: beautiful vegetation, forests, waterfalls, birds, primates, butterflies, bushbuck, dickers, baboons and monkeys.

After breakfast we'll travel to Mikumi National Park for game viewing. This will include a packed lunch.

After breakfast we'll depart for a full day game drive in Mikumi national park. Then we'll have an hot lunch.

Morning departure from Mikumi to Selous Game Reserve. This includes a packed lunch. The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms.

Early breakfast then depart for full day game drive with packed lunch. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest Game reserve in Africa, covering 54,600 square kilometer. Selous is famous for its elephants. Commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras and greater kudus.

Early in the morning depart for walking safari in the wilderness accompanied with an armed ranger guide. You will watch over 350 species of bird and 2,000 species of plants (which make this the most heavenly sanctuary to explore). Then we'll head back to the lodge for breakfast and time to relax. In the late afternoon we'll go to the Rufiji River for a boat safari.

After a final breakfast we'll depart for Dar Es Salaam.
